Hi! My name is Johnny, I am a student here at Texas State University majoring in Integrated Studies with a minor in Computer Science. I have had internships in the Computer Science field with various companies, though I was not very interested in the tech field after all, despite the pay being so good. So, to better align with my life goals I have decided to pivot and join the Military. I am in the (DEP) Delayed Entry Program with the U.S. Navy, and am contracted for (ND) Navy Diver. When I asked myself where I felt most comfortable, I answered “In the water”, and coupled with my goal of serving my country through joining the military, this career trajectory will prove most fruitful.
